St Leger Stakes Free Bets
August 31st, 2012 by Paul
The eldest of the UK’s Flat Racing Classics takes place at Doncaster and Camelot has his eye on winning the Ladbrokes St Leger to add to his victories in the 2000 Guineas & The Derby and become the first horse since Nijinsky in 1970 to complete the impressive English Triple Crown.
It’s not surprising to note that the bookies have Aidan O’Brien’s unbeaten colt as odds-on to win the St Ledger and take on legend status.
Yet, there is stiff competition in this field to mount a serious challenge to Camelot! Another from Aidan O’Brien’s stable is Imperial Monarch – all in, O’Brien has entered six horses into the St Leger – he seems intent on becoming the first trainer to win all of the British Classics.

Andy Murray US Open Free Bets
August 24th, 2012 by Paul
During the London 2012 Olympics something special took place which gripped our nation and brought us all together, the first time for a long time.
We celebrated as our talented home grown sport stars broke down personal barriers as they competed against the best from around the globe to win medal after medal. In total, an unexpected haul of 65 medals (29 Golds, 17 Silver and 19 Bronze) placed us 3rd overall in the medal table and without really being aware, turned our nation into an Olympic sporting super power.
One such golden victory, which our tiny country has waited on ‘oh, so, patiently‘ over the years was some success at the highest level of tennis. Okay, many will argue that winning Gold at the Olympics is not on the same level as winning a Slam. But Andy Murray did it nonetheless and we were all that bit happier he had.

Bet On FA Community Shield Winner
August 10th, 2012 by Paul
It’s a signal that the new football season is almost upon us – The FA Community Shield – vies the League winners (Man City) against the FA Cup winners (Chelsea) and it’ll be played out this Sunday against the unusual backdrop of Villa Park.
There’s no doubting that historically Chelsea are better cup side than Man City (their achievement of winning the Champions League Final and FA Cup when their season looked well and truly over is nothing short of remarkable) but Roberto Di Matteo’s team have looked somewhat out-of-sorts in their pre-season warm-up matches.

Boxing Goes GaGa Over Ogogo
August 3rd, 2012 by Paul
Olympic Middleweight boxing felt a tremor go right through it, the other night, as Team GB gold medal prospect, Anthony Ogogo, pulled off one of the biggest shocks in the sports history.
Spurred on by a very vocal home support, 10,000 boxing fans in the ExCeL Arena witnessed a dramatic victory for the young Brit against Ukrainian world champion Ievgen Khytrov.
Both fighters were tied 18-18 after a dramatic three rounds, and when the countback couldn’t decide a winner, it was left to the judges verdict to declare Anthony Ogogo as the winner.
The unexpected victory propels Anthony Ogogo into the Olympic Middleweight quarter finals where he will meet Germany’s Stefan Hartel on Monday evening.
Hartel defeated Ireland’s middleweight boxing hope, Darren O’Neil, 19-12, and looks more than a test for Team GB’s Anthony Ogogo.
The other quarter finals consist of Zoltan Harcsa (Hungary) v Esquiva Falcao Florentino (Brazil), Abbos Atoev (Uzbekistan) v Vijender (India) and Adem Kilicci (Turkey) v Ryota Murata (Japan).
