Guide To Backing The Runners

Welcome to our 25 to Follow for the Jumps. We have handpicked horses that will provide plenty of excitement from the end of October to the last day of the season in April. The 25 horses have been selected with a focus on the major Graded races and handicaps, many taking place at the Cheltenham Ferstival and Grand National meeting. There will be runners in the major trials and big Saturday races which will generally be live on ITV.

Whenever one of the 25 runs the page will be updated so show the name of the horse and race, level stake and adjusted stake and the best odds and the bookmaker that offers those odds. We are starting with a theoretical bank of £1,000 and each bet will level stake bet will be for £10. You will also see the adjusted stake which is based on 1/100th of the betting bank. As the bank increases so does the stake unit and it drops in line with the betting bank. The adjusted stake is always 1% of the betting funds.

Record keeping is important as it allows you to see the progress of the stake unit, the level of the betting bank and the bank growth. You can analyse the tips by horse or even type of race. Records allow you to monitor performance and see how the bets are getting on. This should be a regular routine when on the 25 to Follow for the Flat runs. The selected horses will provide plenty of interest over the six months of the season, from late October to the end of the aseason in April.
