One of the biggest fights left in the UFC is going to take place this Saturday: It's the rematch between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier at UFC 214. The UFC light-heavyweight championship will be on the line and the war of words between these two men have reached fever pitch. Jones was the unanimous winner when these two collided two-and-a-half years ago but his problems have prevented a rematch since - until now.

Odds of 9/2 are available with Betvictor for Cormier to win via KO (£40 free bet)

Bones

Jon Jones is one of the biggest names in MMA today - period. But, the former light-heavyweight champion has had a rough time as of late. His last fight was over a year ago at UFC 197 when he defeated Ovince Saint Preux by unanimous decision and since then he has been serving a one-year ban for failing a drugs test. That ban started in July and it will only have finished weeks before this fight, but Jones took some viagra which resulted in the ban, the UFC have since accepted that Jones was not a 'drug cheat' and had not knowingly tried to gain an advantage. He and Cormier were set to face off at UFC 200 one-year ago before Jones failed that drugs test and the long awaited rematch is here. Jones is one of the most skilled grapplers in the game today and also holds the longest current win streak in the UFC.

DC

Daniel Cormier really stepped up in Jon Jones' absence. His shot at redemption was taken away from him at UFC 200, but he would still put Anderson Silva away before finishing Anthony Johnson a UFC 210 back in April. Cormier is a mean, smotherer kind of fighter and is a seriously decorated amateur wrestler. It would seem that he and Jones are the perfect matches in terms of styles in the Octagon, but Jones' IQ won out last time and Cormier has been itching to face him again. He finally has that chance with the victor being able to declare themselves the true UFC light-heavyweight champion. Last time they met, the first three rounds of the contest were very competitive and Cormier did plenty of aggressive work. However, that proved to be his demise down the stretch, so has he learned his lessons for the rematch? Cormier's takedowns are formidable, but Jones has some of the best takedown defence ever - who will budge?

Bet365 are offering odds of 9/4 for Daniel Cormier to win

Last time around, Bones took down DC three times before being taken down once himself. That was unexpected. Both men are dangerous in the clinch and have the power to hurt with strikes. Jones, though, is a superior athlete and that doesn't throw any shade at Cormier, it's just how great Jones is. It will be fine margins, but Jones will edge it.

Odds of 6/5 are available with Bet365 for Jon Jones to win via decision
