Three Decimal Points

Those of you of a certain age will remember the days when all we had were fractional odds. There was none of this 85/40 or 23/10 either just a set of odds that punters grew to recognize with ease. As the years went by though, decimal odds arrived and grew in popularity.

It’s been a case of two decimal points, for example 1.61 (8/13) or 1.8 (4/5). At MustardBet though, there are three decimal points for all odds. Now you might be thinking that adding a third decimal point isn’t going to win you much more money. Well, it’ll add up in time just how much extra you can be receiving from your successful (and not so successful) bets.

Maximum Bets at MustardBet

One feature of the site that is particularly interesting is their maximum bet policy. At MustardBet the customer is presented with odds (three decimals of course) for each market and the maximum amount that you can stake. For example, say you were placing a bet on the One-Day Cup cricket match between Middlesex and Sussex. The odds-on Middlesex to win were 1.867 and underneath that you could see the maximum bet allowed which in this case was £273. Their opponents had odds of 2.019 with a maximum permitted bet of £259.

Each bet that is placed by a customer will create a change in all the prices on that event. Therefore, each individual wager on one of the teams will see their price shorten with the other odds lengthening.

If you place the maximum bet allowed, the odds then change, and new maximums created. You can then make another wager on that selection if you want up to the new maximum amount.

MustardBall and DangerBall.

All that is required is to click on the symbol next to the current odds. This brings up a box that has selection of possible stakes you can make or just fill in your own amount. It all depends on what is happening in the particular event as to what immediately happens to your bet.

When there is “the likelihood of a game-changing event occurring’ it’s DangerBall time and your bet will be pending. Such events include a red card being issued or a team attacking in the last-third of the pitch. If nothing comes of the ‘game-changing event’ then the odds stay the same and your bet is placed. All other periods when there’s not a DangerBall alert are classified as MustardBall and your bet will be immediately accepted.

What’s in the MustardBet Blog Today?

We don’t just love to bet on sport but can’t stop talking or reading about it either. At MustardBet there is a blog section and it makes for an interesting and informative read. It’s regularly updated which is always good to discover. A welcome aspect of their blogs is that they aren’t dominated by the Premier League but a recent one looked at football leagues in Belgium, Norway, Ireland and Germany. It previewed upcoming games in those countries and had some helpful hints on who might get you some winners.

The blog is split into several sections which are listed on the left-hand side of the page. These include ‘Insight’ which will get you talking about the topic discussed and ‘Foresight’ which previews upcoming matches.
Other sections include ‘Man v Machine’ which looks at “some of the theory and best practice the narrative bettor should be employing in all sports.” A lot of the coverage is football-dominated but it’s good to see other sports such as tennis, F1, golf, darts, cricket and rugby union get their own blogs. They aren’t always up to date though so that’s something that will hopefully be worked on in the future.

MustardBet Website Expreience

The site has an easy to follow interface and you won’t have any problems navigating your way around. That’s always good to know as the last thing you want is to be unable to find the event that you want to place a bet on.

All the text on the website is easy to read so no chance of making an error by misreading some odds. At the top of the site you just click on the sports button and off you go. Down the left-hand side of the screen is the list of sports that are covered. Click on each one and options will come up.

These options indicate the part of the globe that you want to be betting on. For cricket, there’s the choice of India (IPL and Test matches), United Kingdom (everything from the county championship to the T20) or World which covers countries such as Australia and the West Indies.

It’s also possible to bookmark your favourite events. This is a handy feature and will save you time, making your arrival at the destination of your choice even quicker. For example, you could bookmark the English Premier League football or world boxing events.

Sports Covered at MustardBet

When the site was launched last year, its sports coverage was dominated by football with darts also getting a bit of a look-in. The good news is that this has changed now and there’s a growing number of sports covered by MustardBet.

These include :

  • Rugby Union
  • Rugby Lleague
  • Cricket
  • Snooker
  • American Football
  • Basketball
  • Boxing
  • Cycling
  • Handball
  • Ice-hockey.

Hopefully more sports will be covered in the future and more betting opportunities added to. In-play betting is available on the site but in far less quantity than compared to other online gambling sites.

Payment Methods

When it comes to payment methods accepted by MustardBet, it’s not the longest list you will ever see. Deposits and withdrawals can be made by using Visa, Mastercard or Bank Transfer. A short list but it’s pretty certain that you won’t have any problems finding one that you can use. The currencies that can be used on the MustardBet site are UK pounds and euros.

Mobile MustardBet

You can make deposits and withdrawals through the betting apps developed for iOS and Android devices too. In fact, they will fully substitute your need for the desktop website, making depositing and withdrawing much more accessible if you have your phone with you.

MustardBet Customer Support

If you do run into any problems on the MustardBet site, there is help at hand. Your query could be anything from payment methods to an explanation of the ever-changing odds. Their support team is available every day between the hours of 10am and 10pm. You can also telephone them on +44 (0) 203 475 7699. Alternatively, you can email them at or leave a message via their contact form when live chat isn’t available or contact them at

Company Background

The MustardBet online sportsbook was launched in March 2018. It’s important to register with a site that is licensed as they will have had to undergo tests in order to obtain that license. This site has not one but two licenses with one issued by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission (the registered office of Mustard Bet Limited is in Douglas on the Isle of Man) and the other by the UK Gambling Commission.
When the MustardBet site was launched last year, the CEO of Mustard Systems Andrew Garood made some big promises. These includes “tight margins” and “no account closures.” Their aim is to give customers a site that has innovative and creative betting features. That’s certainly an aim that has been fulfilled as you will read on this page.
